New for 2018 at The Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show is the exciting Cazenove Capital Eventing Grand Prix.
This fast and furious competition will provide a high calibre invitational spectacle as both elite show jumpers and event riders tackle a course of show jumps and feature cross-country fences in a relay format.
Cazenove Capital is a long-established wealth manager with an absolute focus on preserving and growing their clients’ wealth. Skilled in investment management, wealth planning and banking services, Cazenove offer discretionary fund management to external advisers and their clients. They are a leading charity fund manager in the UK.
Starting in the International Arena as the feature class on the evening of Thursday, June 14, the Eventing Grand Prix will see eventers and showjumpers pair up, to then compete against the clock, racing over approximately 30 jumps and cross-country style obstacles.
Each pair will take on a combination of fences, including a brand new set of cross- country fences incorporating the Bolesworth International arena’s iconic moat. The Cazenove Capital prize will go to the pair with the fastest combined time and the least faults. Each knocked down fence will incur seconds added on to the rider’s time with the lucky winner taking home the £1,000 first prize.
Said Show President, Nina Barbour: “We are delighted to be able to build on our existing relationship with Cazenove Capital by involving them in this new and innovative class. We will be seeing some of the leading riders from both sports at their best in this exciting feature class.”
Also on Thursday in the International Arena classes will include the FEI Pony Team Dressage Test, CDI*** Grand Prix Special, Grand Prix Freestyle to Music, Carl Hester Masterclass, CSI 4* Showjumping. The evening will come to a close with the highly anticipated Bolesworth Elite Sport Horse Auction, after the hammer fell at £92,000 for last year’s record breaking top lot.
Bolesworth International will host an impressive range of food and drink options on offer to suit all budgets and tastes, including the new high end Bar facility ‘The Club’ located next to the Main Arena offering Live Music, fully licensed premium bar, food and entertainment till late every evening, together with a new artisan food court next to the Castle Arena.

Taking place in the stunning grounds of Bolesworth Castle near Tattenhall, Cheshire from 13 to 17 June, The Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show promises to be better than ever.

VIP Hospitality experiences are available for all sessions throughout the show, and include access to our luxury ringside marquee, with high end dining included from renowned London caterers Absolute Taste. For more information and to book Hospitality packages, contact melanie@bolesworth.com
