"The Bit - Straight from the horse's mouth"

It's in the bag!

Whether it be a grooming bag, a handbag, a clutch bag to pop a phone and credit cards in or an overnight bag, getting the right bag is key.  A good bag can be seen as an investment piece, so choose wisely.  Luckily there are a number of equestrian brands who've got us covered.

The hand bag...

The brand not just for footwear but for some truly exquisite handbags as well, Fairfax & Favor as fast becoming the must have brand of any country and equestrian fashionista.

Carefully crafted from the finest suede and leather each of the designs are a timeless classic.  Whether it is the Windsor, Pembroke, Highcliffe or Dorchester, each as their own unique look and attention to detail.  All statement pieces that stand out from the crowd whilst all offering practicality and functionality.

We love how all four of these options come with a shoulder strap to enable them to be worn long or across the body.

The Windsor offers some great matchy matchy potential with interchangeable tassels - match them to other accessories or your boot tassels!

The travel bag...

Not only creators of some of the most beautiful saddles, Luc Childeric have but their luxurious leather to good use in a range of sumptuous bags as well.

Our favourite is certainly an investment, but a wise investment we feel.  The travel bag would not be out of place in a first class lounge, but equally it would be durable enough to manage business trip after business trip or even be chucked in the horsebox for away shows.

Available in a plethora of colours the seriously soft grained leather oozes luxury and quality.

The everyday clutch...

For the days that you don't want to be weighed down with a bag but pockets are no where to be seen you need a Kate Negus Leather Blenheim Organiser Wallet.  Perfect for stashing cash and cards, phones and keys, lipstick and even a passport or two!

The limited edition organiser is buttery soft and perfectly formed.  Made exclusively for the Kate Negus brand by Owen Barry in Somerset, the hand-made organiser is a super example of best of British.

The three pockets makes organising easy, no more losing coins at the bottom of a bag.  Each pocket is topped off with a brass zip and suede tabs, the KN bridle pin adds the finishing touch.

Whether you use it as an everyday clutch, an organiser to throw in the car or the lorry or equally something to keep the essentials together in a larger bag, this really is a must have.

The grooming bag...

Picture
Dirt and water repellent material, ergonomically designed shoulder straps, 12 compartments that are flexible and fully adjustable, all in a stylish design...what more could we want?  Someh has been created by Geckwin e.k from Germany, one of Europe's leading bag innovators.  They've considered design, detail and style, whilst also conducting significant research to really understand what riders and grooms want from a grooming bag.

In a company that seeks to supply only the best, it is quite fitting that Ingrid Klimke is a brand ambassador!  German engineering put to good use.
