Late Summer Style

With the Summer heatwave appearing to be on hold for the time being, and some cooler evenings on the horizon it is time to look at wardrobe additions for the seasonal crossover.

A shawl to keep the chill off...

PictureEvemy & Evemy Shawl - RRP £110
Evemy & Evemy welcomes two new silk shawls to its collection of British made accessories bursting with country style.

The two new shawls are made from a silk/modal mix and both are adorned with hand drawn illustrations. The Pluma Shawl features hand drawn game bird feather illustrations (guinea fowl, partridge and pheasant) on a neutral background with attractive soft hand fringed edge, and the Antler Shawl has a pale blue background with antler illustrations and is framed with a grey and gold border with a soft hand fringed edge. Both shawls are supplied in a reusable travel pouch.

“They’re one metre square in size and can be worn folded in half from corner to corner, or used as a wrap too – they’re incredibly adaptable. They’re ideal for any time of the year, for smart and more casual wear. As per the rest of our scarf range, the shawls are designed and made in England" said Sophie Carroll, founder of Evemy & Evemy.

For the warmer days...

PictureSXC Stripe Tee - RRP £19
Super X Country has extended its collection of casual equestrian wear to include a new Stripe Tee featuring SXC’s logo with a dual colour stripe.

The t-shirts are made using 100% cotton and have a contoured fit to flatter the wearer. Currently available in black and white, both colours feature a racing green and red stripe with gold logo and branding detail.

“The new Stripe Tee Collection has been designed for day to day use, whether you’re riding at home, on the yard, or out and about,” said Becci Harrold from Super X Country. “The Tees are really easy to wear and are already selling fast.”

The latest SXC collection appears to be a hit with riders of all levels, including British 4* eventer Imogen Murray, "the collections are a great fit and super stylish, they’ve been great to wear this Summer!"

When the weather takes a turn...

PictureEquetech Kingsley Gilet - RRP £78.50
Taking inspiration from the catwalk, Equetech introduces a range of rider clothing that looks as good in the saddle as it does around town.

Every girl needs a gilet in their wardrobe and the Equetech Kingsley Gilet will see you through the next six months worn alone or as an additional layer. This technical showerproof gilet has a cosy pillow collar and super warm lightweight Bio-Down insulation. Two-way zip, zipped pockets and a machine washable care label ensures this gilet will work hard this season to keep you warm and stylish.

For the perfect curves, you need the perfect breeches and the new Equetech Shaper Breeches are designed to give us all a great silhouette in the saddle. Featuring clever seam positioning, a contoured higher waistband they even feature hidden support within to help lift, shape and define your bottom and tummy! Jean style pockets, matt silicone hatching grip seat and Lycra panel to hem make these your 'go to' breeches this autumn.

Best foot forward..

Fairfax & Favor have become synonymous with equestrian and country fashion of late.  Their monumental rise over the past five years has seen the brand develop and impressive collection.  The latest addition, The Rockingham is a boot that incorporates both modern and stylish Western design,  and sits at mid-calf length, making it great for the warmer days when knee boots are a tad warm. The subtle Cuban heel and decorative hand-stitched patterned detailing on the toe add the finishing touches. A versatile book that is easily styled with an endless range of outfits, feeling at home partnered with a pair of skinny fit jeans for casual comfort, or equally, a mini slip dress for a charming ‘boho’ look.
