Matthew Seed is thrilled to announce that his iconic piece of art paying homage to Uthopia the majestic London 2012 Team Gold Medalist, will appear as the programme front cover at this year’s Olympia Horse Show.
Uthopia’s future was famously secured to stay in Britain with Carl Hester in Gloucestershire by a generous and anonymous donor in 2016. The KWPN stallion was ridden by Carl Hester at London 2012 Olympics along with stablemate, Valegro, ridden by Charlotte Dujardin; they won Team Gold, the first ever Gold for Britain in dressage on the 100th anniversary of the equestrian sport in the Olympics.
World-renowned fine art photographer Matthew Seed aka The Horse Photographer will be exhibiting 25 pieces of his equestrian art work at Olympia, The London International Horse Show, 12th - 18th December 2017.
Matthew is also unveiling two striking new portraits of two of Britain’s top international competitors at Olympia; International dressage rider Spencer Wilton and his Olympic and European ride Super Nova II, along with leading lady show jumper Laura Renwick and her Grand Prix winning Bintang II.
Matthew developed his camera and lighting skills over many years as a fashion & advertising photographer working with a myriad of blue chip brands, before venturing into fine art equestrian photography.
