![]() Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) announced its 2018 competition schedule today featuring 13 FEI jumping weeks, plus one CDI dressage and one eventing competition in its 40-week schedule spanning multiple disciplines. TIEC hosted five series of competition in 2017, which welcomed more than 2,300 riders from 45 states and 31 countries to the venue, and 2018 is poised to deliver an even more robust equestrian calendar for competitors in a variety of disciplines. TIEC is expanding its footprint in 2018 to host competitions in all eight FEI disciplines including jumping, dressage and para-dressage, eventing, reining, driving, vaulting and endurance. For the second time, the venue will host The Fork at TIEC, a 3* eventing competition featuring a CIC 3*/2*/1* presented by Lucky Clays, and the 72nd annual Tryon Block House Races, as well as the U.S. Pony Club Championships East. New to the competition calendar is the 28th annual Carolina Classic at TIEC, the facility's inaugural reining event. Multi-discipline events and specialty horse shows are also scheduled throughout the year.
